Expectations during Gorilla Habituation Experience
This exciting activity starts early in the morning always around 6:30 with briefing session being led by a well-informed tour guide from the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) who equips guests with the dos and don’ts that govern the adventure.
Gorilla Habituation is conducted in groups of six people up to eight people for close monitoring.
After the briefing session the guests fully immerse themselves in to the jungle in search for these species accompanied with a tour guide and the armed ranger who escorts guests for security purpose in case of any emergency outbreak.
Moving through trail heads you are to visit a selected habituated gorilla family expect observe the spectacular scene of gorillas up close playing feeding their young ones, copulating, breast feeding, resting hence gaining deeper insights of the gorilla behaviors
