The dry weather makes hiking in the park rainforests easier and the risk of contracting malaria is lower as malaria-carrying mosquitoes are more of a nuisance in the wet, rainy season.
If you’re interested in birding, the best time to visit Uganda is during the two rainy seasons; mid-February to early June and mid-September to mid-December. This is because the birds are easier to find.
